Alex Hope is a 22-year-old songwriter and producer. 
She co-wrote Fun on Troye Sivan's debut EP. TRXYE debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, after reaching #1 on iTunes in the US, as well as 58 other countries.


Alex co-wrote Borrow My Heart for X-Factor runner up Taylor Henderson, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2014 ARIA Awards and Pop Work of the Year at the 2015 APRA Awards. 
She also co-wrote his following platinum selling single When You Were Mine and contributed another six songs to Henderson's ARIA #1 album, as well as producing the title track Burnt Letters.  

Alex has worked with a variety of artists and writers including Troye Sivan, Jack Antonoff, Tove Lo, Joel Little, Broods, Tina Arena, Taylor Henderson, Tuka, Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian. In 2013, she signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV Publishing. 

Alex co-wrote Only Lonely, Patchwork Heart, Don't Look Back and Lose Myself for Tina Arena's ARIA nominated album Reset. In 2015, she co-wrote and produced Nirvana, the first single from Tuka's (Thundamentals) album Life Death Time Eternal, as well as My Star and Right By You. Alex co-wrote and produced the title track WILD from Troye Sivan's second EP, as well as co-writing FOOLS and DKLA feat. Tkay Maidza. 

On the album Blue Neighbourhood, Alex co-wrote and produced COOL, TOO GOOD and BLUE, which she also features on, as well as co-writing YOUTH and HEAVEN feat. Betty Who.
Alex won Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the 2016 APRA Awards. 

She currently resides in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
